Monza review

Vettel: The NexGen?

In most cases others who got lucky in qualifying will not be able to carry their luck until the podium. (The reason I quote Sebastian lucky - Better drivers like Lewis and Kimi goofed up on tire selection and timing the run in Q2)

Vettel, though had the grace of sitting on the pole and quite an easy start due to safety car....drove an excellent but careful race to create a piece of history that even other drivers will acknowledge.

I am hoping after the Belgium fiasco, with new kids on the track like Sebastian Vettel F1 may continue to hold some hope to die hard enthusiasts like me.

Let there be more competition and better quality races next season. Not to forget - less of controversies and events like Belgium and spying.

On another note - the rear end finishers erstwhile Minardi (Today's race winner Toro Rosso) have made a stunning progression to the front! Unbelievable but true.

Well, what's was in this race for die-hard Ferrari and Schumi fans like me celebrate:
  1. Toro Rosso is powered by Ferrari engine
  2. Toro Rosso is an Italian team
  3. Vettel is from Germany

3 reasons to cheer (could also be read as 3 reasons to hide my disappointment) for the Tifosi though the Scarlet under performed this weekend :-(

Hamilton Vs. Massa Vs. Kimi:

Judging by the way these drivers performed (attitude and aggression) yesterday - I don't think Massa or Kimi deserve to win this year's championship. Hamilton takes it all...and if there are no more controversies on him or McLaren, he should go on to win the championship easily (with or without the Belgium appeal)
